Terms and conditions

§1 Scope. These terms apply to all orders placed through rootsandregions.com between Nico Funke - Roots & Regions (“we”) and consumers.

§2 Conclusion of contract. Product listings are not binding offers. By submitting and paying for an order, you make a binding offer to purchase. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email.

§3 Prices & shipping. All prices are final and include any VAT due under Portugal’s special scheme for small retailers. Shipping is included in the product price - no additional shipping costs apply.

§4 Payment. Payment is made through PayPal, including the methods available there. Other payment methods may be added later.

§5 Delivery. Sealed, non-perishable goods are shipped with CTT Portugal, usually within 3-10 business days within the EU. We are a small maker; freshly poured soap may need additional curing time before it can be shipped. We will let you know if this affects your order.

§6 Retention of title. The goods remain our property until they have been paid for in full.

§7 Right of withdrawal. Consumers have a right of withdrawal as described in our separate withdrawal information, subject to the exceptions set out there.

§8 Statutory rights. Your statutory rights and remedies for defective goods apply.

§9 Applicable law & jurisdiction. The law of the place where our business is established applies, while preserving any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country where you usually live.
